Hello.

Im work we have an s7 300 cpu without a memory card. For training I'd like to use a natural microsd card, as there are no other memory card aviable and the time the cpu will be free is limited.

Is possible to do this? I'm reading a bit and seems that the only difference between a normal memory card and a Siemens sourced card is some formatting inside the memory, and not a hardware difference itself with the normal memory cards.

any information or help about this? This will not be used in a industrial application, only to be able to upload programs in the plc for self teaching and training while I can.
