With Remote Tool Access, Siemens provides users, with "Service Level" (or higher) access rights, simple and secure access to the remote device. The plant can be serviced at any time, from anywhere.
Functionality
Remote Tool Access establishes a secure tunnel connection to the remote device via Portal.
