|
|
I have read and understood the steps for using the software, but when I run the START.CMD, the installer goes to an installer about "WinCC Runtime Professional V13 - SIMATIC WinCC Runtime..."
It also says "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable". And then gives me the option to look for SCADA-RT.msi, and if I press "OK" it says that the path is invalid. If I press cancel, the installation gets stuck on "Preparing to Install" and forces me to End Task.
Is this supposed to happen when running this authentication tool?
Please tell me what I am to do. Thank you |

| I forgot to mention. I am NOT running this for TIA portal. I am running it for Proficy Machine Edition 8.5. So, I have no idea why this is happening. I see the sample.jpg and how it looks like, but I'm not even getting that. Note that I am running Windows 10 build 1709 (64-bit), dunno if this will help. Also, if there is a way to bypass the installation and just upload the file as it is, I'd really appreciate it (I mean like installing the software to the specified path and then copy/pasting that folder from the specified path and upload it as it is). |

Oh, yes, of course

That first picture is the directory to the files I'm using.

The second picture is the prompt I get after pressing START.CMD (I tried pressing the .exe file directly as well, but it yielded the same results).

And this is the error that I get after I press "Cancel". When I press "OK" it also gives me a similar error, with the only difference to change my directory.
Now, after this post, I have decided to try this out on another laptop, Windows 7 32-bit, which I'm aiming to compus because it's been years and it's really tired. Strangely enough, the software work exactly as it should, and I was able to copy it and activate it on my Windows 10 Desktop. So, yes the application is now activated, but I still don't know why it won't work with my Desktop. And since I am aiming for a format soon, I just can't be sure that it'll work the same way, which is why I'm not taking any chances, and want to make this crack work. I am very thankful for this forum and all the materials it has provided me for various PLC software. I just want to keep them all with me in case I move from one computer to another. Thank you again [/img] |
