PWM Speed Control for DC Motor
This circuit allows the speed change from stopped to the maximum possible engine by means of a potentiometer.
With works by pulse width modulation motor force is little affected even at very low speed.
The circuit is based on an NE555 integrated which generates the necessary pulse train to control the transistor which drives the pulse motor continuously.
The diode in parallel with the engine stops when power is removed, the transistor will burn.
Components between terminals 2, 6 and 7 of integrated regulating circuit oscillation frequency and hence motor speed. The transistor, with a good heat sink, can handle up to 75W of power. |
