We are using prosoft MVI94 in a flex IO rack. The module is used to communicate with a motor control panel. Recently we started to face issues with this module as the communication with the motor protection modules is being hold until we recycle tge power for the Prosoft module to restore the communication back. This can be observed by the front PRT2 Led not illuminating.

We have one new spare and managed to backup the configuration file from the installed one using Hyper Terminal and loaded this file into the new one. By to install the new one completely means the module has to be removed and this will cut the Flex IO rack communication. Is it enough replace only the upper part of the prosoft module we do not want to shutdown the unit as this is a very critical system.
