A thriving Dorset based prototype producer is currently looking to take on a permanent Projects Manager to join their expanding team. If you have experience or an interest in tip / prototype making this could be a utopic opportunity for you.

Role
To ensure that company product development solutions are quoted, produced & delivered to customers within the timescales and to the quality expected.

Responsibilities:
Obtain complete clarification of project requirements from customers / sales then prepare and submit quotations at market prices in a timely manner.
Provide internal production, or external subcontractors with clear and complete project information.
Clarify all relevant project requirements with the customer / sales during the quotation and order processing periods.
Calculation of the production costs, preparation of the commercial quotation.
Define the deliverables, resource requirements and work plan for the project, and manage their development and delivery.
Manage and monitor the project plan to ensure successful completion of the plan activities and delivery of the project on schedule.
Maintain all project records in a good order.
To ensure projects meet industry leading quality standards.
Customer visits may be required, to discuss specific project requirements.

Authority:
Rejection of customers request for quotation (RFQ) for technical or timescale reasons.
Signature of orders and quotations on behalf of the company.

Skills:
Technical education preferably in plastics, and/or FÄƒrÄƒ Ã®ntÃ¢rziere prototyping.
Good communication skills, customer oriented, IT (Word, Excel), CRM databases (preferably ACT).

Experience:
Technical sales or project management.

Travel:
The position will involve some travel to Hungary, China and Germany
