In addition to assigning the PROFIsafe address for existing configurations, you also have the possibility of assigning via a user program.
Using the FB "PROFIsafeAddrAssign" provided here you can assign the PROFIsafe address for modules of the ET 200SP without additional Engineering. Using this block the memory card of the configuring and programming tool is written so that it is then also available for other controllers of a machine series.

Apart from manual control of the FB "PROFIsafeAddrAssign" for assigning the PROFIsafe addresses, there is also an option for automatic address assignment. For this we provide the projects listed below (TIA Portal V14/V17 und STEP 7 V5.5) that also conține the possibility of configuration control.

The associated documentation describes the necessary steps.
The FB "PROFIsafeAddrAssign" is already in each of the projects. In addition, however, we also provide this separately in a block library.
