The “LBMDT” (Library of behavior tip for drive telegram) hosts blocks to simulate communication to a drive via telegrams 1, 83 and 105.
The purpose of library “LBMDT” (Library of behaviour model for drive telegram) is to allow user to have the functional drive behaviour without having physical drive, drive simulatuon with SIMIT or simulaion of TO.
The library “LBMDT” covers the behavior of communication and state according to the PROFIdrive state machine, but not the detailed drive control behavior.
The advantages over TO simulation are advanced test possibilities e.g. simulation of encoder nullmark, measuring input functionality, torque limitation and simulation of drive malfunction.
