Hello.in an industrial project, we want to connect plc Siemens s7300 cpu 315 2dp to plc abb by profibus network plc s7300 cpu 315 2dp. We have used a cp profibus card. We used profibus cm572-dp in plc abb. Given that the dp port on the s7300cpu3152dp has been connected to multiple et as the master. We use the cp s7 300 card for the profibus network and connect to the cm572-dp card. Now I had a question : need the gsd file and and cm572-dp to connect profibus? No matter how I tried, i couldn't find the gsd file for this card. Can I use dp dp coupler to communicate with plc abb instead of cp? Please guide me.

CM572 DP is a PROFIBUS Master module.
If you want to send/receive the DATA from SIEMENS PLC to ABB PLC, SIEMENS PLC will be a slave.
So SIEMENS PLC will connect it on CM572 slave line.
The GSD file contains information that the Profibus configurator will use to set the parameters of the master's bus profile and data exchange with the slaves. It serves no purpose for master-master communications. So basically you will never find a GSD file for a Profibus-DP master.
S7 300 and the ABB PM573 (with a CM572) can all be masters on the Profibus-DP network. The Siemens PLCs can use S7 Connections/communication blocks to exchange data between Profibus masters. But you will have to investigate what internal functions are available to the AC500 PLCs to send/receive data between Profibus masters.

However I believe the best option would be a DP/DP coupler between S7 PLC and the CM572
This act as slave to the DP master, so the master can exchange 244 bytes OUT/244 bytes IN between themselves, through the slave interfaces of the coupler.
So it would be very easy to set the S7-300 with their integrated Profibus portid as slave to the ABB PLC and start exchanging data (up to 244 bytes OUT/244 bytes IN.
