Hi,
I have recenly installed TIA PORTAL v14. Firstly I create a project and add a PLC device and an HMI. Then I write a simple ladder logic program and compile it.
The problem is that for connecting TIA portal v14 to PLCSIM v14, when I click on "download to device" and then click on start search, it shows an error:
"failed to establish a connection to the device with address 192.168.0.1.online: the correction to the target module cannot be established."
what does it mean? how can I change the IP address in PLCSIM v14?
Even when I click on the start simulation button to connect TIA PORTAL to PLCSIM, it shows an error:
"you can only simulate CPUs of the S7-1200 series with firmware version 4.0 or higher."
what does this one mean? Should I install anything else? I tried to download firmware update 4.0 from siemens website, while it needs registration confirmation which takes some days...

Try to install TIA V14SP1 with latest updates for Step, WinCC and PLCSim

and HSP also.
Did you install Simatic Net V14SP1?
This is a must.. |
