Hi all, Im in the midst of upgrading a robotic system at an educational institution whom are wanting to use their current PanelView Plus 1000 HMI screen with a new CompactLogix L320ER PLC I just installed.
I've attempted to develop the HMI in FactoryTalk v4 to ensure compatibility and it works fine when I test the application on my laptop but when I transfer the runtime application it doesn't seem to communicate tags effectively with the PLC.
Basically Im asking, is it possible to interface these 2 pieces of equipment? |

Depends on what RSLinx Enterprise is compatible.
If you have to use CompactLogix Ethernet Port(s) Add a Shortcut and highlight the 5069-L320ER controller but this only
upgrading FT to a newer version at least 5.1 otherwise you don.t ''see'' 5069-L320ER
