Got a simple question. I'm faced with a ControlLogix PLC which was altered by a third party and upgraded from firmware v32 to v35. My laptop has Winows 7 because of compatibility issues with some other software I have to use.
Studio 5000 V35 will not install because the computer is not using Windows 10 or later.
Is there any method to bypass the requirement for Windows 10 and get version 35 to install on Windows 7?

Thanks for the info. I was aware of this but had hoped that the collective intelligence here had a way to trick it into installing on Windows 7.
I'm installing a Windows 10 VM on my machine for this software so hopefully that works for me. |

| its more efficient to install it all in a vm then convert the vm to a vhd with starwinds converter then you can mount it on your laptop making it bootable (runs quicker than a vm) |
