| Hello all! I am trying to make a small and simple pick and place solution using x-y axis movement. I am using 2 500mm lead screw with 2mm pitch directly coupled to the servo motor shaft. I am using Modicon m200 with 2PTO outputs. Now while configuring the motion task table for the application I am at loss. I would like to know how can I co-relate the pto output to the actual rotation of the screws. Please help me, someone. And thanks in advance. |

Use MC_TouchProbe_PTO Function Block to determine Start and Stop movements using some sensors.
When you first enter the function block, you must configure it to use the intended axis. Double-click on the function block to display the function block properties, choose the axis and click Apply.
Execute :
On rising edge, starts the function block execution. The values of the other function block inputs control the execution of the function block on the rising edge of Execute. A subsequent change in these input parameters does not affect the ongoing execution unless the ContUpdate input is TRUE.
The outputs are set when the function block terminates.
If a second rising edge is detected during the execution of the function block, the current execution is aborted and the function block is executed again.
WindowOnly :
When TRUE, a trigger event is only recognized within the position range (window) defined by FirstPosition and LastPosition.
TriggerLevel:
When TRUE, position captured at rising edge.
When FALSE, position captured at falling edge.
Then you can use the other functions to adjust movements,
Read carefully the Help on SoMachineBasic you have all explanations.
Unfortunately I do not have an examples to help you...
However What is your configuration..what servo did you use? |

Hello thank you so much for your help. I am using the LXM32 servos. I will go through the help section of somachine to learn more. I am still unsure of configuring the servo drives though but i think i will find it out eventually.. ;) ..
Thank you very much for the help.
