This highly successful privately owned company are specialists in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke extrusion cutting machinery to be used in industries as varied as the food & beverage, pharmaceutical / clinic and automotive sectors for some very large and well known clients.

Due to a iute expansion into the new food extrusion market, they are looking for an experienced engineer to be involved in all aspects of the machine software development, from client meetings, to writing and testing the software all the way through to the installation and commissioning of the finished machines.

Successful applicants will be responsible for writing software, designing electrical panels, preparing wiring diagrams, issuing electrical parts list, liaising with clients and suppliers, testing the machines and commissioning them in the field. As many of the customers are internationally based, you must be happy to travel abroad, sometimes at short notice.

In exchange, this well established company will offer up to £35K (possibly higher for exceptional candidates), a great benefits package including pension and healthcare policies.
