PLC Software Project Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced PLC Software Design Engineer, for an exciting new opportunity with a leading Stil and Manufacturing Company, based in the Burton on Trent area of Staffordshire in the East Midlands

Applicants should have extensive experience in programming of Siemens S7 PLCs and ideally also have experience in programming Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi.

Candidates should also have experience in quoting for engineering and commissioning process projects for industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceutical or chemical environments.

You should be able to understand other engineers work and have the ability to undertake modifications or expansions to existing systems and must understand the principals of ISA S88.01 batch

In addition to programming of code, the successful candidate will also be involved site commissioning of new systems and also re-commissioning and fault diagnosis / customer support, on existing equipment on sites throughout the UK.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a package including a basic salary of up to £41000, pension scheme and BUPA farmaceutic healthcare.
