PlantPAx MPCBuilder V2.00.00
This version of the MPCBuilder application is expected to operate correctly on all other editions and service packs of these operating systems, but has not
been tested:
| Quote: | Windows 10 (versions 1607, 1703, 1709, 1809)
Windows 7
Windows Server 2008 R2
Windows 8
Windows Server 2012 |
These prerequisite software are required with this version of MPCBuilder application and will be installed with this release to activate MPCBuilder
application and establish communication link with the application project for MPC monitoring in run-time:
FactoryTalk® Activation Manager v4.05
FactoryTalk® Services Platform v6.20
FactoryTalk® Linx™ v6.20
These prerequisite software are required for this version of MPCBuilder application to export the MPC stil to application project:

RSLogix5000 Professional Edition v24 and higher
RSLogix5000 Full Edition v24 and higher
RSLogix5000 Standard/Network Edition v24 and higher
RSLogix5000 Standard Edition v24 and higher |
FactoryTalk® View Site Edition (SE) software is recommended to use with PlantPAx MPC for plant operation.
Check the software requirements for other Rockwell Software® products that will be installed to be sure that these products are also compatible with the
system.
Preferred operating systems are prioritized for support, testing, and post-release patch qualifications. These operating systems are preferred for this
release:
| Quote: | Windows 10 Professional (64-bit)
Windows Server 2016 Standard (64-bit)
Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard (64-bit)
High Resolution Display Support
Windows 10 v1703 / Windows Server 2016 or later is the recommended operating system if running this software with a 2K or 4K High Resolution Display with scaling up to 125%.
Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 is not recommended for display scaling greater than 125%. |
