| Is there a program that would allow me to simulate various real world components such as pumps, motors, sensors, tank levels, etc. I am learning Siemens and I can't find a software package like RSTestStand for Siemens. I'm not sure if Siemens has something simular to this, and would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks. |

Hello soundview00,
You have some alternatives:
1. A plant simulation from SIEMENS you can find on this post:
http://plc.myforum.ro/siemens-tecnomatix-v90-vt3959.html
It's an older version but it's good for learning.
2. On the other hand you can use PLCSIM to simulate Inputs/Outputs and link to WinCC or WinCC Flexible to follow functionality on runtime.
3.Another way would be the simulation software from:
http://www.mhj-tools.com/
I saw in forum some links.
Probably for your needs the variant 2 is the closest.. |
