Good Morning,
I have read the manual of pide and some examples on the net but I still not able to understand how it works and the way to configure it. If someone has any simple example or method to understand, please share it with us.

Hello,
I am trying to learn how to configure a pide block and i am using softlogix emulator. Is it possible to do a simulation and see how the pv will react to a change of sp? |

| does anyone have an idea about the parameters of pide instruction "ProgOperReq", "ProgProgReq"...when sould I use them ? I couldn't understand even from the manual. please help |

Program/Operator control lets you control these instructions simultaneously
from the user program and from an operator interface device. When in Program
control, the instruction is controlled by the Program inputs to the instruction.
When in Operator control, the instruction is controlled by the Operator inputs to
the instruction.

operator input??? l
program input and operator input what are they?

.ProgProgReq A program request to go to Program control.( what is coming program ???)
