I have a routine the runs PID Compact and when in the simulator, the PID compact works in manual. I have set the output limits to -50 - 50 and if I put a manual value of 75 the output is 50, which is correct. If I do the same when online to the PLC S7-1580, the output is 75, incorrect. My question is why.
Also is there a way of getting the PID Compact to work in auto in the simulator?
