First of all i don't know if it is the right section to post this topic
I have 2 Panelview plus 400 HMI one with 2 ports ( USB & Serial port ) is already installed in a packing machine with previously installed application ( Run application at start up is SET ) and the other one is a brand new with 3 ports ( Same + Ethernet port ) .....
So my question is how to make a copy of the application ( .MER file )from the 1st one to the 2nd . i can connect the 2nd one to my pc via Ethernet cable and using ME transfer utility but i don't have any serial cables for the 1st one and even worse i don't know how to enter configuration mode so i could be able to make a copy on a USB drive
I would be grateful if someone helps me and excuse me as i am not pro with HMIs |

Use the "white square" reboot method and within "Application Settings" use the File Management menu to accesss the Internal Storage memory partition; there is one .mer there.
The only way to know what "runtime" is loaded applies only to Windows CE terminals and refers to .mer applications which were downloaded with the option "Run the Application at Startup" checked.
