can you help me? panel p41 the have two switch SW0 and SW1. how can I adjusted two switch SW0 and SW1 position BOOT?
panel P41 CPU 4P3040.01.K05 now screen display does not BOOT, how can I boot ?

You have the SW0 and SW1 description..
Use FF ....The CPU boots in Diagnostics mode. Program sections in User RAM and User FlashPROM are not initialized. After diagnostics mode, the CPU always boots with a cold restart.
Connect Power Suplly..
And try...
You do not have access to Power Panel User's Manual V 2.2..all are explained ...
For how long this Panel not functioning..?
The battery is OK?
This is your type...?

this panel P41 4P3040.01.k05 of me, it new operating in ten months.
I check battery ok, and I think panel 4p3040.01.k05 operating not problems
panel of me types: 4P3040.01.k05
while I not yet upload online the panel 4p4030.01.k05 operating very good.
two days ago I have online this panel 4p4030.01.k05
I adjusted two switch SW0=1 and SW1=1 position
this after I connecting cable RS232 with panel 4p4030.01.k05 with PC
the first open software AS2.6 automation studio
step 1: file> new project
step 2: select a CPU module for the new project 4p4030.00-490
step 3: project> services > transfer operating system...
step 4: operating system transfer warning: any information on the taget will be Erased during the update of the operating system < after I selected NEXT
when I selected next, while is CPU 4P3040.01.K05, it's all Erase date in CPU 4p4030.01.k05
after CPU 4p4030.01.k05 all Erase finished.
now the screen display appear color white.
this after I off supply power, when I on supply power again,
while screen display it does not lights, after me online again not yet.
software AS2.6 automation studio Alarm Boot MGR error com port in use
can you help me.
how doing to fix screen display for it lights? |

Use SW0=0 and SW1=0 and in this position you can enter online..
Why do you use SW0=1 and SW1=1 because this is not a good combination.. |

to day I following you and me adjusted two switch SW0=0 and SW1=0 and I connecting cable RS232, then opening software AS2.6 but I can not online in the evening. then I adjusted switch SW0=1 and SW1=1 again, now I see connecting online ok

It seems you have another version of PP ..or this is setting from application..
But if you need to access the OS then 00 is mandatory...
Probably you have to repair because the Source LED you say is OFF..????? |

I think you have to proceed as follows...
As long as you bought this product you can register on B&R Site and if you are a registered user on the B&R homepage
www.br-automation.com you can call up information regarding their products by material number or serial number ..from above pictures..and access to the revision history for the B&R products you have purchased.
However, from the pictures from above you want to access a P3040.01 variant with a P3040.00 runtime upgrade and of course is not possible..
Download and upgrade runtime for P3040.01 family... |
