Hi all.
Only found this site yesterday and downloaded v30 rs studio 5000 but struggling with the activation method in general.
Following through the advised methods of activation I'm getting rather lost!
Is there a place I should look to start to understand where I should be making changes and hex changed? I see the activation files and patches but no idea what to do with them all. Not asking for a direct answer but would like tips on where I should begin to learn the process thanks  |

Did you do the patch method or did you do the Mac address method? |

Hi all for whoever reads this.
I'm more than willing to learn the way of looking into the activation methods but I'll admit openly I am very confused!
I've got v20.03.01 RS Studio, running logix 5000 v15 to v20.
I've installed FTA 3.61 as read thats the way to go with activations.
However when following the stickies and downloading the AB full activations collection, I'm getting rather lost!
I'm seeing the EVSRI (spelling?) method, virtual floppy, HEX edit, patch method and simple copy and paste. I've tried the latter using v30 but to no avail.
Any guidance on where i should start with looking at? Once know that I hope i can pursue further. When trying the hex method, the values seem to be different when says change the original value to the new cracked value or is this normal? |

Feel like I'm getting closer now...!
Going through the patching process, however struggling with
Patch to accept licenses

Hexedit C:\Program Files (X86)\Common Files\Rockwell\FTACommon.dll at address 40FB9
From 34 02 To 30 90
*********************
I'm unable to find the address 40FB9, I can see
40FB8 3B 34 02 75 ETC
40FC0 8B 54 24 10 ETC
Any clues where the bugger is hiding?
