motolk.dll and motolkr.dll contain the sentinel api's

partial success: v32 bit running ... a litle bit too slow when is loading but works

32bit version.
no ideea how to work with this software so please give a feedback:

when i start the sofware starts very slow like in 20-30s
(i have it instaled on 64bit windows7 virtual machine), i hope that this is the reason.

forget to mention:

i had install 32 and 64 bit version but not the hardware key drivers.
i seen programs that if you had the drivers installed will not work.
hope is no problem with that.

may I ask what you did? Did you patch out the sentinel shell?
Thank you very much. I patched out the sentinel api's in motolk but I wasn't able to trace my emulated sproread word to rebuild the dongle. A little to advanced for me.

Do you plan on doing the 64 bit version?

my mistake i think.... looking too much over this routines i start to confuse things
Picture attach with what is installed.

you have in the previous link the file "MotoSimEG.exe" from programfiles(x86)

and now i add the "MotoSimEG-VRC.exe" from ProgramFiles (64bit)
(VRC - file is incomplete - has a big bug - when load the cell is distroing the robot controller.- i did a mistake somewhere)

this it is --- for few days i will take a brake -- i am tired.

Jarmster - i look in the api's but there is a mess - i prefer to attack strait the user code. (the guys that make protection softwares know what they are doing - the guys that use the protection methods do more mistakes) - so i prefare always to attack the user code.

If you follow the link above to the other thread with all the demos posted, i have posted a link to a fix.

The fix only partially works. if you replace the demo installer program with the one i have posted it will install the demo licence but the motolk.dll fix doesn't work past the 14 day mark. I was trying to make the demo good for 10 years and i found where the program calculates time left in the demo and i hard coded the 10 year value in. The demo message will display that you have 10 years left in the demo but after 14 days it still ceases to work.

I need to trace in ida 2 copies of the program (working and expired) to see where the program flow changes and see whats going on.

When i have more time, that was the plan. but until then you still can use the 14 day trial.

There are two files in the medicine. One is a patched demo installer that you can use to install any of the demos here..http://plc.myforum.ro/yaskawa-motosim-egvrc-2015sp2-vt9502.html. Scroll down to the pile of 14 day demos. Theres a shit ton.

You need to install the demo licence with the demo installer. The one provided with the demo licence for your software. Copy my patched demo installer over the official one. You can use my demo installer on all the demos licences you download and use.

The motolk.dll file doesn't work, don't use it. It's incomplete and only for 32 bit software. It will still work and tell you you have 10 years left in your demo but it ceases to work after 14 days. No different then using the original dll file.

To start you need to clean your system if you have installed any of the demos previously. To do this you need some software. There’s a nice little hdd utility called winhex. Pb if you need it. The keygen will identify as a virus. Disable your antivirus (windows defender too) and download the program and install. Use the keygen.
Clean all the Safenet and aladdin shit off. Stop the service Sentinel LDK license manager. Delete program files x86/common file/Safenet and aladdin folders.

Boot into safe mode.
Open Regedit
Go to Hkey_Local_machine\software\classes\clsid

Find “ID” ( the word Id) Check value and whole string.
You’ll come to a registry item. The progid will contain 7 key Id ( or more depending on how many demos you installed) starting with 4 zeros. Delete the whole registry item. i mean Hkey_Local_machine\software\classes\clsid\xxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxxx. The whole item and all subkeys. Not just the progid where the keys are.

Search again F3 till you find another registry item like the last one. Delete it as well. Keep searching till your done.

Exit regedit.
Open win hex
Open tools/open disk
Choose the drive. The listing that is your physical hard drive.
New screen. See the unpartitioned space. Highlight one, right click, wipe securely. Choose 00 and enter. If you get a message about unable to lock the drive. Just acknowledge and wait. It’ll finish. Do it for all unpartitioned space including partition gaps.
Ok I guess I should add, key data can be stored in recovery partitions. You need to delete them as well.
Winhex doesn't tell you if a partition is a recovery partition but windows disk management does. They're usually around 450mb I think.
You’ll have to google deleting recovery partitions with diskpart.
Follow the instructions and you should have no issues. After that, the size of your unpartitioned space will increase. Zero it for save measure.

That’s it. Reboot into natural windows and install the demo license.

At this point BEORE you activate the 14 day. Perform the same task you did before in the registry. Instead of deleting the keys. Export them to a .reg file.
You will use the reg files the next time you need to reset.

To reset
Boot safe mode
Clear unpartitioned space
Install both .reg files into registry
Reboot
Start motosim.
It’ll ask if you want to start 14 day.

Enjoy
Btw it’s better to install all the demos you want to use at once and then make the reg.patch. Then activate the demos. Makes thing so much easier.
If you want to install a demo afterwards, download a program called registrychangesview. Google. It lets you compare registry snapshots. Take a snap after you install the demo license and one after you activate. Compare those 2 and it will spit out which key changed and from what to what. Make a reg of the original key for reset. Not all keys change. Motosim installs 14 keys but only updates 4 when activated.

Remember all shared demos need my patched demo installer to install them. Posted early in other thread. Just copy and paste it over the autentic one in any of the demo installers.
