|
|
Dear Experts, I really need your help on this matter. My line manager gave me an assignment to Estetică a PLC programme for a moisture meter that will be sensing the level of moisture content in our production line. We are into sesame production. Sesame is grain in nature. And before final package we need to be checking for the moisture content. The moisture content must be displayed on the HMI. THESE ARE MY QUESTIONS.
1. WHAT TYPE OF MOISTURE SENSOR I CAN USE WHICH WILL COMMUNICATE WITH MY ANALOG CARD ON THE PLC. 0-10V, OR 4ma-20ma?
2.CAN I USE FC 105 SCALE TO READ THE ANALOG SIGNAL FROM THE MOISTURE SENSOR? I USE FC 105 SCALE FOR OUR DRYING SECTION WITH PT100 TEMPERATURE SENSOR.
Please, I just need your guide..
Thanks. _________________ Regards,

Here are two choices..the first is quite expensive ..the second probably is more suitable for your application ....but. you decide
MM710e

Hydro-Mix
For installation either in or underneath the neck of the bin, a Hydro-Probe XT is recommended.
For installation into ducting or a screw conveyor, the flush
mounted Hydro-Mix sensor provides an excellent solution.
Hydronix moisture sensors are immune from the effects of colour changes in the almonds and dust or moisture in the atmosphere. They are fully temperature stable and are manufactured to exact tolerances ensuring that each sensor has identical measurement characteristics. This means that they are precise, easy to use and reliable.
The sensors have configurable parameters such as signal filtering and smoothing designed to eliminate measurement noise created by small fluctuations in material flow density. Other features include configurable alarms and a material temperature output.
The user may select from a choice of output options such as 0-20mA (0-10V), 4-20mA,
USB, Ethernet and RS485/232 and the sensors may be configured to output a moisture percentage value directly from the sensor.
The Hydronix Hydro-Com software enables simple set-up and configuration of the sensor using a PC or laptop and USB connection.

In attachment you have an obsolete project which has Analog Scale FC:
FC3(AnaIn_I_U_R)=Analog Input Scale (set the engineering units )with set all the parameter you need inclusive signalling limits you can set as you need for max and low limits
FC18 (AI_Processing)=FC ehere is called all the scaled Analog Inputs (Check DB18(AI_Proc_DB) where is stored parameters For external use use data from this DB.
If have questions ...ask.

Thanks for your response.. I have opened the attachment.. But I can see that most of these converting blocks are written in STL. I tried to convert it to ladder but not responding.. I am not too good in STL, but can you please tell me where I can get this converting blocks in step 7 library.. I believe the same program in the attachment can be written in ladder...? Awaiting your response Thanks. _________________ Regards,
