Modular SIMATIC EMS400S Carrier PLC

Automated conveyor systems are used in the entire metal and logistics industry. The SIMATIC EMS400S plant controller has been designed for transporting loads in electric monorail systems.
A plant controller includes the following hardware components which coordinate the communication of the segment PLC with the carrier PLC.
a PSB-S module in the segment PLC
a PSB-C module for each carrier PLC
a converter for controlling the drive
a display unit in the carrier PLC with an IR remote control

Reading the IR remote control and controlling the display module at the carrier PLC
