MC Client – exchanging process data with Mitsubishi control systems

With the help of a function block, a SIMATIC S7-1500/1200 controller can access process values of a Mitsubishi control system as MC client.
With the “LCCF_MCClient” function block a user can establish a connection to a directly accessible Mitsubishi Automation controller system. Once enabled the function block will automatically contact the Mitsubishi Automation controller. It establishes a TCP/IP connection and negotiates a single communication session per sever port.
Due the tag definition all parameterized process tags will be exchanged with the Mitsubishi Automation controller. Hereby the “LCCF_MCClient” block executes both Reading and Writing requests within a single request. For this the MC client utilizes one TCP connection.
