Our client, an award winning UK based engineering company who supply and service major blue chip companies are looking to recruit after substantial investment and growth plans. They are a manufacturer of specialist machining systems and recognized as a provider of high quality machines with excellent after sales service. They are at the forefront of their industry leading in new technologies both in design, development and manufacture. They are currently looking for experienced maintenance engineers for an onsite role at the premier aerospace engine manufacturer in Derby.

The Role:

You will be part of a highly skilled onsite CNC machine tool maintenance team. You will carry out service schedules at a prestigious manufacturing company and will be involved in installations when needed. You will conduct planned and preventative maintenance on non-conventional and conventional specialist machine tools. This position will be part of a 4 shift system.

The desÄƒvÃ¢rÈ™it candidate will have:
* You will have a solid background in service or maintenance of CNC Machine Tools.
* Ideally you will have a good electronics faultfinding capability coupled with a mechanical background.
* Be able to prove a clear and logical approach fault finding electronic control systems (Siemens and Heidenhain).
* Experience of EDM machining equipment.
* Seeking a position within a technically demanding and challenging environment.
* Being highly motivated, confident and organized with keen attention to detail
* Ability to absorb technical information quickly and being able to perform tasks whilst under pressure
* Understanding of Spark Erosion machines.
