Over the last few years we have been involved with porting various tools and systems to OpenVMS.
Along these lines we have been working with others in the OpenVMS Community who have similar interests.
As a result we have arranged for the C compiler to be loaded on the on-line OpenVMS Alpha Lab System which is a part of the CCSS Interactive Learning environment.
This system is available to you for your use in program development or porting activities.
If there are other resources you might need – different compilers, layered products, GNV (the OpenVMS Unix Portability Environment similar to Cygwin) please let us know so we can work to arrange this.

Additionally we have a Source Forge Project where we are working to concentrate the effort for Open Source porting to OpenVMS.
This is VMS-Ports.
We are looking for people to participate there.
We have a bi-weekly conference call with HP OpenVMS Engineering to discuss issues and requirements.
