MindSphere is the cloud-based, open IoT operating system from Siemens. Using the "MindConnect IoT Extension" upgrade, it is possible to connect devices to MindSphere over MQTT.
In order to implement the MQTT protocol in a SIMATIC S7 CPU and transmit data to MindSphere, the library "LMindConn_MQTT" offers you an adequate solution.

The "LMindConn_MQTT" library provides you with function blocks for S7-1500 CPUs and S7-1200 CPUs. The functions blocks integrate the MQTT client function. It enables the following functions:

Transmitting MQTT messages to "MindConnect IoT Extension" (publisher role)
Receive messages from "MindConnect IoT Extension" (subscriber role)
The communication can be secured via a TLS connection.
