Libraries for Communication for SIMATIC Controllers
https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/109780503/

The following libraries are included:
LCom:
This library enables communication based on TCP/IP and provides additional communication functionalities using its own protocol.
LHTTP:
This library enables data exchange with a web server in the local network or on the internet via HTTP or HTTPS.
LMQTT:
This library enables the communication of a controller as MQTT client.
LOpcUa:
This library provides function blocks for OPC UA PubSub communication.
LSNMP:
This library can be used to monitor and control SNMP-enabled network components from a controller or to send messages to a network management system.
LSyslog:
This library allows sending syslog messages to a syslog sever over UDP or TCP with optional TLS encryption.
In addition, the library provides master copies for Open User Communication, with which you can easily implement your own communication functions via TCP, UDP, and ISO-on-TCP.

Querying and Controlling the Digital Output of a SCALANCE W via a SIMATIC Controller and SNMP
https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/57249109/
The blocks of the library "LSNMP" from the Communication Libraries for SIMATIC Controllers allow a SIMATIC S7 CPU with PROFINET interface, as a simple SNMP manager, to query information from the network components and, if necessary, also to control them.
The SCALANCE W788-x/W748-x devices of the RJ45 variant have a digital input and output. You can control or query the digital output (DO/1L) and its state via the private MIB tag "snMspsDigitalOutputLevel".
The blocks of the library "LSNMP" enable a SIMATIC S7-1200/1500 CPU as a simple SNMP manager to switch the digital output of the SNMP agent SCALANCE W748-1 RJ45 and to read its state.
The following functions are implemented in the application example:
Integration of the "LSNMP_Get" and "LSNMP_Set" blocks of the "LSNMP" library into the STEP 7 V16 project.
Switching the digital output of the IWLAN client with the "LSNMP_Set" library block.
Query the status of the digital output of the IWLAN client with the "LSNMP_Get" library block.

The following graphic shows the configuration scenario that is implemented in this example.

C2C Communication via OPC UA PubSub with SIMATIC S7-1500 on the Basis of UDP
https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/109782455/
The TIA library "LOpcUa" provides you with function blocks for the implementation of OPC UA PubSub for SIMATIC S7-1500 controllers. An exemplary implementation can be found in this application example.
With part 14 of the OPC UA specification, the communication mechanism "PubSub" was introduced. This mechanism is not based on the Client-Server principle as in conventional
OPC UA communication (OPC 10000-4), but instead uses the "Publish/subscribe principle".

The following scenarios arise when using OPC UA PubSub:
Configurable peer-to-peer communication between controller and PLC or HMIs: The stations are not directly connected with each other and a configuration in order to make the stations known to each other is not necessary. It can be a point-to-point connection or data distribution to many receivers (multicast).
Logging on multiple systems: Sensors or actuators can write logs into a monitoring system, an HMI, an archive system for later retrieval.
OPC UA Servers that represent services or devices can stream data to applications hosted in the cloud. For example, back-end servers, big data analysis for system optimization, and predictive maintenance.
With the TIA library "LOpcUa", Siemens provides function blocks for the implementation of
OPC UA PubSub for SIMATIC S7-1500 controllers. Both the Publish and Subscribe blocks of this library implement PubSub via UDP and use the transport protocol mapping "UADP" for this purpose.
This application example shows you how to use the blocks of the library using C2C communication as an example. Basically, any other communication partner that supports OPC UA PubSub can be used.

Note.
The Library for OPC UA Communication (LOpcUa) was integrated entirely into the Libraries for Communication for SIMATIC Controllers. You'll find the Libraries for Communication for SIMATIC Controllers in the entry
