Global Engineering Recruitment are currently looking to speak with Electrical and Automation (Level 1) Commissioning Engineers that have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience on Rolling Mills.

Candidates MUST:

• Have the relevant experience on rolling mills for the required 5 years minimum
• Hold a university degree (Master or Bachelor) in Mechanical Engineering, a completed Degree as Electrical Engineer (automation engineering) or have completed formation as a Technician.
• Have an excellent command of spoken and written English
As Commissioning Engineer your tasks will include:
• Current / hands on experience on Direct Reduction Plant, Meltshops / Bloom Casters with worldwide travel to sites
• Commissioning of the electrical and automation systems
• Execution of performance and acceptance tests
• Testing the single functions and the overall function (ghost rolling/ghost casting simulation, i/o checks)
• Supervision of electrical equipment
• Preparation of a test record and internal acceptance record including the list of remaining issues
• Custom operator / maintenance team training on site under
• Reporting of commissioning experience.
Other important requirements for the job are:
• Significant and provable work experience in steel plants, such as maintenance, erection and commissioning work experience
• Direct responsibility and project management knowledge
• Willingness to undertake lengthy assignments worldwide
• Intercultural experience

Successful candidates will be employed in Dubai (contract and salary issued in Dubai), accomodation, flights, transport and daily allowance along with base salary supplied.
