ITP1000 How do you configure function keys F7 and F8 ?

Initial situation
Function keys F7 and F8 cannot be freely configured.

Solution
1. End "KeyActionLauncher" in the Task Manager
Start the Windows Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del --> Task Manager).
Select the "Processes" tab. Select the "KeyActionLauncher.exe" process. Click the "End Process" button.

Confirm the query dialog with "End process".

Close the Windows Task Manager.
2. Close the Tablet Configuration Center

3. Edit KeyDefinition.xml
In the Windows Explorer you navigate to the following path: "C:\ProgramData\Siemens\Automation\IpcConfigurationCenter". Click "KeyDefinitions" and select "Edit". Note that the path is hidden by default.

The editor of "KeyDefinition.xml" opens. Navigate to the following line to edit function key F7.

Change the line from "<IsLocked>true</IsLocked>" to "<IsLocked>false</IsLocked>".

Navigate to the following line to edit function key F8.

Change the line from "<IsLocked>true</IsLocked>" to "<IsLocked>false</IsLocked>".

Save the changes.
4. Restart the device
After startup function keys F7 and F8 can now be freely configured in the IPC Configuration Center.
