|
|
Hello,
Im new to the world of PLC and got the opportunity to take up a hobby with a PLC that I acquired.
That being said, I have come to a first road block before even attempting to do anything;
I am trying to link my Macbook (via virtualbox VM) and it wont connect. I have set my network to Bridged adapter, the adapter is visible on Windows 7 but when I try to link it says it cannot establish a connection. Im connected thunderbolt to VGA adapter into the PLC. Using the DirectSoft software.
The software recognizes my adapter under the UDP/IP Port, and I tried setting the IP address to what it shows in network connections but still nothing.
Anyone have any ideas or if im going about this totally wrong?
Thanks in advance!
