..try this...
If you want to use BOOTP/DHCP server, you have to do the following:
. set thumb-wheel of the rotary switch to 888 (this defaults the AENT and enables DHCP)
. Use bootp server to send address...
. Disable BOOTP/DHCP in the module (using BOOTP server tool)..
. switch power off from the adapter...
. set thumb-wheel of the rotary switch to 999 (this fix on AENT the address you set)
. re-apply power

i try this but i cant disable BOOTP/DHCP,i dont know why :(.
I think maybe problem is the different MAC address on module and in request history (i use crossover cable and connect direct to module). |

....maybe you need to update your DHCP/BOOTP Utility..
Read Version 2.3.2 Release Notes
This is a Windows application used to assign IP addresses to EtherNet/IP devices via BOOTP or DHCP. The recommended install location is the default location.
Defects corrected in this release:
Canceling a Save Changes when doing a File -> New deletes the request history (x38646)
BootP Server gets a Dr. Watson when you try to open it using Windows NT (x37595)
DHCP Server fails to set "local network" IP address (x37075)
BootP server crashes when File -> New is selected on Windows NT4 (OS - Windows 2000 and Windows XP do not exhibit this defect) (x36915)
ZIP archive has paths (x36737)
Go to...
http://www.ab.com/networks/ethernet/bootp.html
and download the 2.3.2 version..
http://www.ab.com/networks/ethernet/get/BOOTP-DHCP%20Server%202.3.2.zip
and install... |
