Hello, dear users, I'm looking for technical information or even tetxbooks or manuals about how to establish different types of communication protocols between industrial devices - HMI and PLC. I'm writing ladder programs for PLC and programs for HMI, but how to make them talk together is unclear for me, unfortunatelly!
I need to know as much as possible about how to use RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 in HMI/PLC, station addresses, master/slave, data length, parity, stop bits and everything the rest I'll need to establish successful connection between two devices.
I was thinking all the time that writing ladder programs for a PLC or software for HMI will be the most difficult part of the job, but now it seems that I was wrong!
So I'll be extreme thankful to anyone who sends me a link to specialized info or textbooks/manuals which are explaining this matter in details.
Thank you! |
