| I would be grateful if someone could provide a guide to migrate IFIX 3.5 to IFIX 5.8. |

I have tried to do the migration and it is opening properly but not yet tested on site.
First, I have installed IFIX 5.5 on the same PC where IFIX 3.5 is running. During the installation, it detected that an IFIX is already installed and request whether an upgrade is required - YES. Then it is upgraded to IFIX 5.5. Tested ok and then Backup the project.
After this I installed IFIX 5.5 using Win 8 OS and restore the IFIX 5.5 project using BAckup and Restore.
Thereafter, I installed IFIX 5.8 and it is upgraded. I had to delete in FIX.ini, the following run=Reghelpfiles. The project opened corrrectly and back up the project. |
