With the library provided for download here, you can very easily configure, program and operate the SIMATIC Ident systems on Allen-Bradley controllers (Rockwell Automation).
With this download, we provide you with the suitable "Simatic Ident" block library for Rockwell systems.

The library contains all necessary blocks and data types to configure and program the RFID functions of the SIMATIC Ident systems using "Studio 5000 Logix Designer" or "RSLogix 5000".

The library has been tested with the Allen-Bradley CompactLogix and ControlLogix controllers. In general, the use in all Allen-Bradley controllers programmed according to IEC 61131 is possible.

The connection between the devices is made via EtherNet / IP. You can connect the SIMATIC RF600 Ident system directly to the Allen-Bradley controllers. For other Ident families, you require an additional communication module.
