|
|
- PLC FC4A-D20RS1, It is in alarm, error led is on.
- I have WindLDR version 5.1, and I have a USB-FC4A/5A AMSAMOTION.
- I adjust all communication parameters (COM5:9600,E,7,1)
- Then I try to download the program (plc to PC) and it show an error in cable or communication configuration.
- I don't know what is the problem.... the plc is broken? the cable? the WindLDR?
Thanks!!! |

Lesson 1: Configure PLC Type and Serial or USB communications for non-Ethernet PLCs

Lesson 2: How to configure Ethernet communications for FC5A-D12% CPU

Go to Control Panel, Device Manager, and under Ports, find out which serial port the USB converter is mapped to?
Once you determined the COM #, go to WindLDR software and manually select the COM #.
If this still doesn't work, we recommend you purchase the USB converter from IDEC part number FC4A-USB.
The cable is a straight thru FC2A-KC4C |
