There is some signals that files stored on hotfiles.ro are warned as having viruses....??????
I want to assure you that nobody from this forum do not spread viruses.
What you should know about hotfiles.ro is that this is the most advanced experiments regarding distributed files on different servers.
This is the start for domestic users but the technology behind has the most advanced applicability inclusive in advanced military applications.
It could avoid the most advanced search engines if it is necessary and it assures a redundancy never attained on data and files storage.
It uses a dynamically random access and naming which can be encrypted as much as you can and spying on these data could be a nightmare for all who want to do that....
If some antivirus software warn you... this is only due to their incompetence.....
they purely are outdated....

I've forgotten to mention that for security reasons of the servers only WinRAR archives are allowed...

Maybe I used an inapropriate term as experiment.
After a bad experience with rapidshare because the admin bought 5 accounts with about 500 EUR and then one by one the accounts have been closed and we lost the money and the entire database uploaded we decided to start our own applications for storage.
Their explanations was a file receive a strike.
And for a file they destroy the entire database from the respective accounts.
That's happened few years ago.
Seeing that they are not serious we started to develop our own file storage.
Being in the middle of a research project we applied some concepts from there:
1. The stored files must be available no matter if one server is down;
2. The stored files from one user must be available only for that user. If the user give the link is his problem.
3. Every user has allocated different virtual processes on the server. That
means it is impossible for a hacker to place an exploit on SQL Server because there is not an SQL centralized server process allocated. The most success for a hacker is to brake one account.
4. But even if an account is broken it will not have much success because the files are distributed on diferent servers each one with it's authentication.
In this phase the application has been deployed on different servers with a large help from former students from Institutul Politehnic Bucuresti,
faculties of Electonics and Telecommunications, Automation and Computers.
The next phase is to use the 'cloud computing" concept:
Once the first phase is implemented to be sure that no one can loose data then if, for example, you have a company and you want to keep the enire database of your company on a server and run all the applications you need for company on a server with the principle
"pay per use" then you can do that without fear that you loose data or somebody could harm your account.
So, in this phase you can use free without limit these servers meaning you can upload all the files you want and yu'll find these files after 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, 10 years.....
The only think you have to care is to keep the link on a safe place because once you lost the link there is not a centralized searching and you could not find the file.
From the moment we will finish this phase the applications will be available on servers then who need to use cloud computing have to pay.
I don't know if you understand correctly in which context I used "experiment".?
What you should know in this phase is that you can use these servers anonimously, upload and download without limit on free terms and you'll find your files after 10 years where you upload.

We've made ( http://hfiles.ro/ ) with www.userscloud.com a herculean financial efforts for making finally a host-file for delivery unlimited storage on an unlimited time for free for students and not only.
This kind of host-file will allow for all users to have an online "Hard Disk Drive" with unlimited storage on an unlimited time, having access anytime, anywhere for free.
We've tried to get more help from Universities around the world with not much success so far.
The "Universities World" is still "reluctant" on a modernization. Seeking help to the most importantly Universities in the USA, Germany, France, Japan,Australia,...and so on.... we've get an "polite" NO.
I must underline that the only countries where we find a help with promising more help in the future is CHINA and RUSSIA.
This World is still on an COLD WAR when you seek COLLABORATION on an International Project so far.
I believe now that most of the dirigeants of the Universities around the World are simply "autistic" to the evolution we have to face with on the next decades.
Sincerely, the Universities are more "politicized as I believed before". There are a lot of interests around which make impossible to "transcend" the line.
Most of them, specially from Western countries wants and have an aggressive recruiting scheme of "super-engineer" from the Eastern countries Universities, but none make any effort for a minimal financing of these projects.
Making a bitter remark is that in the last 25 years ROMANIA lost almost 500.000 well prepared engineers for which Romanian State spent about 25 bln USD to educate them. Who are the beneficiary.....USA, France, Germany, UK and so on... This is an unprecedented Brain Drain and a stealing intelligence than ever before....
The European Union was and is in fact the most elaborated scheme for frauding and destroy the Eastern Countries.
After 20 years of EU membership most of the Eastern Countries, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Poland, and even Spain, Italy, Portugal have a destroyed economy, facing poverty and political dissolution.
Even Marx did not prevue such an aggressive Economical Imperialism on the 21 Century.
Leaving behind this "political assessment", I encourage all the users to help each others to develop a free file host for all of us.

I hope you understand me correctly.
We have nothing against any users in any country...the problem is the political regimes on these countries...but together we can surpass all these .....
