hi plc guys
i need to help how to fix can not install microwin V4+SP5
im using win XP +SP2, and simatic manager: 4.5+SP5
when i install the microwin then pop up mesage is " unable to locate a valid executable for update, you must sellect the directory where your previous version of MIcro/win or micro/dos is located.
help me..

yes my xp is SP3 but micro/win v4 +SP5 installation failed

Maybe this e is enough...

This SP5 is only an update..
So you need firstly to install Microwin and then install update...
Search on forum..I saw some links to Microwin... |

SP9 can be used for a full clean install. You only need the microwin.exe from a valid installation to authorize the installation of SP9. You even don't need to install the exe to the right location, as long as it's somewhere on your computer the installer will locate it.
What's more, SP9 even runs on W8.1. I just tried it yesterday on my computer and it works flawlessly (SP9 is officially approved upto W7x64). |
