|
|
How do you set the IP address of the NTP server variably via the user program of the S7-1500 CPU?
The "T_CONFIG" instruction is for program-controlled configuration of the integrated PROFINET interfaces of the S7-1500 CPU or of the interfaces of a CP/CM.
Using the "T_CONFIG" instruction you can change the Ethernet address and PROFINET device name from the user program.
With an S7-1500 CPU V1.8 and higher and with STEP 7 V13 SP 1 Upd4 and higher you can also use the "T_CONFIG" instruction from the user program to change the IP addresses of the NTP server for the time-of-day synchronization.
The previously valid configuration data is overwritten.
You can make the following changes using the "T_CONFIG" instruction:
Setting for the IP protocol
IP address
Subnet mask
Router address
Setting for PROFINET
Assignment of the PROFINET device name
Settings for the time-of-day synchronization
Assignment of the IP address of the NETP servers for the time-of-day synchronization (only S7-1500)
The settings correspond to the configuration options under "IP Protocol" and "PROFINET" in the "Ethernet Addresses" dialog or those under "NTP procedure" in the "Time Synchronization" dialog. This is displayed in the "Devices & Networks" view under the Properties of the PROFINET interface.
Requirements for changing the IP address of the NTP servers
In order to use the "T_CONFIG" instruction it must be explicitly specified in the hardware configuration that the user program is to assign the IP address parameters and the device name.
For this in the Device View you open the Properties of the PROFINET interface. To change the IP addresses of the NTP servers via "T_CONFIG" you go to the "Time Synchronization" dialog and activate the option "Enable time-of-day synchronization via NTP" and then you specify the IP address of at least on NTP server.
The configuration data must be stored in system data types and transferred at the "CONF_DATA" parameter. You store the IP addresses for the NTP time synchronization in the system data type IF_CONF_NTP.
Input parameters of the "T_CONFIG" instruction
Table 01 shows the input parameters of the "T_CONFIG" instruction.
More information about the STATUS and ERR_LOC parameters is available in the manual "STEP 7 Professional V13
