How do you access an S7-1200 CPU online via the CP1243-1?

Instructions for accessing an S7-1200 CPU online via CP 1243-1
You need the Hardware Support Package HSP170 to configure the CP 1243-1 V2.1 in STEP 7(TIA Portal) V13 SP1.
Follow the instructions below to access the S7-1200 CPU via the CP 1243-1 online.
In STEP 7 (TIA Portal) you configure the S7-1200 CPU and the CP 1243-1.
In the Devices and Networks editor you open the Device View of the S7-1200.
Mark the CP 1243-1. The properties of the CP 1243-1 are shown in the inspector window.
In the "General" tab under "Communication types" you enable the function "Activate online functions".
Load the configuration into the controller via the integrated Ethernet interface of the S7-1200 CPU.
Select the menu "Online > Extended go online" to open the "Go online" dialog.
In the "Go online" dialog you make the settings below to establish an online connection to the CP 1243-1 via which you can access the CPU online.
- PG/PC interface type: PN/IE
- PG/PC interface: Network card of the PG/PC
- Connection with interface/subnet: Try all interfaces
- Enable the function "Show all compatible devices".
In the "Go online" dialog you click the "Start search" button.
In the "Compatible devices in the target subnet" list you mark the CP 1243-1.
Click the "Go online" button to establish the online connection to the CP 1243-1 via which you can access the S7-1200 CPU online.
Note
If the S7-1200 CPU and the CP 1243-1 are in different IP subnets, the PG/PC has to be connected to both IP subnets.
