This is the steps describe how copy the siemens serial number of MMC S7-1200 and S7-1500.
First, you need to change a Volume id, of you any MMC card to a serial like this 0000-0000.
For this, you need to Download a System Software called: VolumeID

So, you need to Extras "volumeid.zip" file contents and move the extracted files ("Volumeid.exe" & "Eula.txt") to the root of you MMC drive,(depend of your OS)
For WinXP:
Go to "All Programs" => "Accessories" => right click in "Command prompt" run as Administrator.
In Prompt, write "MMC driveletter:" Click <Enter> = EX: E:
after: write "vol" <Enter> = you will see the actual volume id = XXXX-XXXX.
Now to change, write "volumeid <driveletter> 0000-0000" Click <Enter> EX: E:\>volumeid E: 0000-0000
Done!
Now you need to write the img of MMC card Siemens to your MMC, using a software "S7imgwr".

Put this MMC in the computer, and open a TIA Portal Software.
Now, select the MMC in the project, go to "properties"
You can see a serial number, like "SMC_08ee127...."
If the serial number show clear, the procedures doesn't work.
Maibe you neet repeat the steps. I tested many times, im a CPU S7-1500 and work like a charm...

Hi,
Thanks a Lot for fast replay,
i put my SD card [no siemens] on PC and open with TiaPortal.
Perfect i read the same like a siemens card.
But when i put on PLC --> error - no card read
