The house control application example (set 9) is expanded by a SIMATIC HMI Touch Panel KTP700 Basic. House functions can easily be controlled and monitored with the central Touch Panel. The color display of the touch panel can be modified individually.
The aim is to control the functions of a building with a LOGO! and to operate and monitor them with an HMI Touch Panel. This application example shows how to realize the Touch Panel using a KTP700 Basic.
The application example shall contain the following functions:
Blinds
Roof hatch
Interior and exterior lighting including panic switch
Heater

House Control with LOGO! 8 and Touch Panel KTP700 Basic House Control with LOGO! 8 and Touch Panel KTP700 Basic

LOGO! Set 10 expands LOGO! Set 9 by the KTP700 Basic Touch Panel.The enhanced LOGO! program is included in Set 10. The Touch Panel can also be simulated in WinCC on a PC. As an alternative for the KTP700, every other Basic Panel can be used. The following functions can be operated and monitored with the Touch Panel.
