I'm working in Plastic Injection Molding Machine company. the machines are Injection Molding Machine ( Sumitomo Injection Molding Machine: http://www.shi.co.jp/plastics/english/ ), Jushin takeout Robot ( http://www.yushin.com/ , http://yushinautomation.com/, http://www.yushinamerica.com/en/robots ) , Star take out Robot ( http://www.starautomation.com/ ). They are used AC 3 phase Servo to control almost Equipment. The problem are: 1) When the Servo is defected, We replace with new Ac Secvo. but the adjustment of HOME POSITION is very hard, spent lot of time of our works. Who have experiment of Servo motor can tell me about it (HOME POSITION ADJUSTMENT when we change, replace motor, drive, encoder? 2) Can you tell me about what sensor or what principle how Servo motor can detect home postion exactly ( Dog Switch Sensor, ...) ? 3) Can you tell me about Offset value in positioning control ? 4) Who have work with Sumitomo Injection Molding Machine, Jushin Robot, Star Robot, can tell me about its passwod. because its service password contain almost information we need to learn and understand about Positioning Control ?
