As a service and repair company for Siemens Simatic components, we purchase large numbers of used Simatic components on a daily basis.

During repair it is very important for us to find out the history of a component and how often or how many hours the Simatic component has been programmed or used.

In step 7 or wincc flexible we can only see a small part of the hardware diagnosis, is there a tool or code available with which we can use MPI or Ethernet to read all hardware ram information such as e-mode, serial number, operating hours, production date, date of first start etc.?

PLC/Retrieve from memory card...
Via "PLC/Retrieve from memory card..." you can read out individual files stored via "PLC/Store on memory card..." from the memory card and save them on your PG/PC. If files are not displayed, you must change the "file type" in the open "Fetch files from PLC" window.
