Dear all,
This is my first post here. So far I am quite noob on PLC programming but I feel really enthusiastic with this kind of "toys".
A while ago I downloaded PME 9.5 and started playing around with on old system I could put my hands on it. Those are the details:
-VersaMax Micro Controller - IC200UAL005-BG
-VersaMex Micro Analog Expansion Unit - IC200UEX626-B
I wonder if it is possible to get real-time I/O control using OPC communication. My intention is to do start a small project using this system controlled with the Simple-Scada software. I swear that I have been doing my research but, honestly, so far I have some limitations on understanding some technical details... My guess is that I will need an extra module to allow this communications.
On the other hand, the Controller has two ports. Currently I am using Port 1 (SNP Serial) to download the LD to the PLC. Is this port also capable of doing what I need?

I do not understand what scada do you want to use ..
is uWin SCADA Demo Software from
http://www.ezautomation.net/software.htm
What hardware do you have..what panel ? |
