Thank you very much. I tried but unfortunately something doesn`t work. I tried to download system software (V510160 that was in software, I am assuming it should be the one) to brand new 160 panel, at the end software says that download complete but panel is saying `that Download failed`.
Tryed to upload data base from old pannel it stack on `go Transfer`stage. sending to panel only GXFERGFERG etc. never go to `Host Transfer mode`.

If anybody has idea what can be wrong, I will very appreciate tip. I have already tried dfferent setings for baud rate (9600/19200) and protocols (XON/CTs/none) for Com port in PC and Panel. PC has COM port. The only thing with PC is that it is Windows 10. But Data Designer installed no problem there and seems runing Ok.

Hi friends,
i'm looking for DataDesigner PC-software to configure my DataPannel model 160. (It begins to not start up at powering on. I need to save its "data base" then try to repaire the datapannel or buy another pannel and upload the saved DB into it.)

I tried all the links in this topic - nothing works.
I'm from Ukraine, (near Russia) may be it is the problem...

Thx for the DataDesigner - it works properly,

Now - i can not save the .DTB from DataPanel (DP) to PC.

Can not even switch DP to the Host Transfer mode - there is no "Mode-Off Line-Transfer" options of the Functional keys.

"GoTo Transfer" instruction from DataDesigner to DP does not work - DP is ignoring it, while the LED is blinking on the face of DP, so the COM-cable is Ok and the instruction passes from PC to DP, but the DP does not switch to the "Host Transfer mode"... Of course, the "Upload" does not start as well...

What does it mean or what should i do???

(Look at the clock value - "80 second"... :w00t:

The clock works very "interesting" while its battery still keeps 3.0V

The main problem is that this DP, actually, does not start at all - the display is blank and the buzzer bipps non stop. To make it working again, as you see it herein, i have to heat up a bit the chips on its PCB and the DP again begins to start working :-(
