In STEP 7 (TIA Portal), how do you calculate a floating average value for the S7-1200/S7-1500 from the read-in values?

The FB "Floating Average" calculates a floating arithmetic average value from the read-in REAL values and thus provides a method for smoothing data series. The can be read in cyclically or as triggered.
The libraries in the download include the following blocks:
"Average" [FB1]: calculates the average value of the read-in values.
"DB_Average" [DB1]: instance DB of FB "Average".
"Control" [DB2]: global DB with the DB tags for triggering FB "Average".
"Main" [OB1]: call and parameterization of FB "Average".
If you load the four blocks into the S7-1200/S7-1500 CPU, the program can be run immediately. However, you can also insert FB "Average" individually into you project and parameterize your own tags for it.
The figure below shows the call of FB "Average" in OB "Main" and parameterization with the DB tags.
