This Memory Card is for S7 1500 not for S7 1200.
For S7 1200 you can find firmwares...

How do you update the firmware of the AS interface master CM 1243-2CM 1243-2 communication module?
https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/109744251/how-do-you-update-the-firmware-of-the-as-interface-master-cm-1243-2cm-1243-2-communication-module-
You have to use a SIMATIC Memory Card with at least 4MB to update the firmware of the CM 1243-2 communication module from V1.0 to V1.1 with an S7-1200 CPU V4.x.
You cannot update a CM 1243-2 with firmware V1.0 via the online function of STEP 7 (TIA Portal). If you try, you get the error message "The module is currently not ready for a firmware update".
Proceed as follows to update the firmware using a SIMATIC memory card.
Switch off the S7-1200 power supply.
Use the memory card as a firmware update card. To set the card type you slot the SIMATIC memory card into the card reader of the programming device.
In STEP 7 (TIA Portal), in the project navigation you select the folder "Card Reader/USB Memory > Removable devices".
In the folder "Card Reader/USB Memory > Removable devices" you right-click the available SIMATIC memory card.
Select the pop-up menu "Card Reader/USP Memory > Create firmware update memory card". The "Select firmware files" dialog opens.
Navigate to the directory in which you have stored the firmware file of the CM 1243-2 communication module and mark the firmware file.
Click the "Open" button to complete creation of the firmware update card.
In the Windows Explorer you can now see the following content on the SIMATIC memory card:
- Folder: "FWUPDATE.S7S"
The folder contains the firmware file.
- File: "S7_JOB.SYS"
When you open the file in a text editor, the "FWUPDATE" content is displayed.
Slot the SIMATIC memory card into the S7-1200 CPU that is connected with the CM 1243-2.
Switch the 24 V DC power supply of the S7-1200 on.
The S7-1200 CPU executes the update of the firmware of the CM 1243-2 communication module. The RUN/STOP LED flashes green and yellow to indicate that the update is being copied. When the RUN/STOP LED lights continuously yellow and the MAINT LED flashes, the copying procedure has finished.
Remove the SIMATIC memory card.
Restart the S7-1200 CPU to load the firmware.
Note
With firmware V1.1.22 and higher you can use the online function of STEP 7 for the firmware update. |

Backup with Simatic Automation Tool

you cannot use ordinary mmc.
you have to use simatic sd card...
indeed is expensive..
